How do we get there?
South Buck Lake is located down Highway 13 and south of Drayton Valley. The exact pin location and directions will be shared once your booking has been confirmed.
What is the cleaning policy?
The trailer will need to be swept and surfaces wiped down prior to your departure. Also and dishes should be cleaned and dried.
What is the check-in procedure?
The check-in procedure will depend on our team's availability. Check-in is at 4:00pm and can be done remotely, allowing you access until we can come and give you the full walkthrough. That allows you to get set up and get some lines in the water.
What is the check-out procedure?
You will need to clean the unit (outlined above in the Cleaning Policy) and then an in-person inspection of the trailer will be conducted by our team. Check out is at 2:00pm.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to two weeks prior to your reservation. Payment is due two weeks prior or your reservation will not be confirmed.

Are the Loose Lines Fishing shacks dog-friendly?
We are dog-friendly! There is a pet fee of $20/day.
Can we have a fire on the lake?
Yes, you can! We supply the fire pit and fire wood.
What type of fish are in Buck Lake?
There are Walleye, Perch, Burbot, And Pike.
Do I need a fishing license?
Anyone that is fishing is required by law to have a fishing license.
